From a young age, I've always enjoyed anything creative and artistic. I still remember picking up my first camera on holiday as a child and being fascinated by what I could create and capture.

 

Originally trained in professional make-up artistry at the London College of Fashion, I began working around photography on a daily basis and my passion for it continued to grow.

 

I picked up my first DSLR camera shortly after my first daughter was born, and I couldn't put it down!

With encouragement from friends and family, I finally took a home course in photography in 2015, and after several months of practice, 

Dolly & Maisy Photography was born! (named after my two beautiful daughters, Molly & Daisy)

Being a mummy myself, I know all the tricks when it comes to uncooperative children! 

Please don't worry if your child is shy or unlikely to participate in posing! I always book out extra time so they have plenty of time to warm up, and always have a box of props/goodies to distract them.

​

Shooting outdoors means its very easy to capture natural shots of children whilst they are simply playing and enjoying themselves, this is without a doubt my favourite style of photography.

​

I feel very lucky to do this as a job and love every minute of capturing memories you can treasure for a lifetime.
